How my journey began…

I have so many childhood memories of sewing with my mom, from watching her make our halloween costumes to sewing clothes for my dolls. But I never had any particular interest in sewing as an adult, at least not until I decided to start adding a new dimension of texture to my acrylic paintings by incorporating some hand-embroidered stitching. My interest blossomed further when I started sewing a few new pillowcases for our sofa. I’ve been hooked on quilting ever since! From picking out and coordinating fabrics to basting the quilt sandwich to seeing the finished product, I still love each and every step of the process.
